Joyce Rudin for Mayor of West Orange

Your quality of life is on the ballot.

I’m running for Mayor because I believe it’s time for West Orange to embrace new ideas and possibilities. My vision is a safer, more affordable, better-planned town that protects our green spaces, celebrates our diversity, embraces innovation, and responsibly spends your tax dollars.

The West Orange We Love.
The Future We Can Build.

West Orange is a beautiful, diverse, multi-generational township of nearly 50,000 residents. Our community is home to talented, creative and engaged people from many backgrounds, ethnicities, races and faiths. Our diversity is our strength.

Nestled in the Watchung Mountains overlooking Manhattan and the Orange Valley, West Orange is a wonderful place to live, own a home and raise a family. It is also a town of innovation, proudly home to Thomas Edison’s laboratory and residence. This campaign seeks to bring that spirit of innovation to government.

Residents come first

As a Councilwoman, I have asked tough questions about spending, helped residents bring long-standing concerns to Town Hall and worked to strengthen environmental protections. As Mayor, I will bring that same attention to how West Orange spends your money, serves your neighborhood and plans for its future.

My priorities are clear: protect taxpayers, control spending, improve services, plan responsibly and protect the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Town Hall should work for residents, not political insiders, developers or special interests.
